Refusals, Appeals
and Federal Court Judicial Reviews
Has your application been refused?
We can help you fight refusals but your deadlines are short! Contact us to book a consultation to determine what your options are. Sometimes it might be best to re-file an application, but often recourse to a tribunal or court is the only option.
Immigration Appeal Division (“IAD”)
The IAD hears many different kinds of appeals, including Sponsorship appeals, Removal Order appeals, and Residency Obligation appeals.
Refugee Appeal Division (“RAD”)
The RAD reviews refugee decisions made by the Refugee Protection Division (RPD). You may have an appeal to the RAD if your refugee claim has been rejected.
Federal Court Judicial Reviews
If there is no appeal to an immigration tribunal, or your appeal was refused, the Federal Court is usually the final opportunity you have to challenge a negative decision.
