Bjorna regularly represents immigration clients with refugee claims, pre-removal risk assessments, humanitarian and compassionate applications, family class sponsorships and permanent residence applications.

Bjorna has experience with appeals before the Immigration and Refugee Board and handles a wide variety of Federal Court Judicial Review applications. She has appeared before the Refugee Protection Division, the Refugee Appeal Division, the Immigration Appeal Division and the Federal Court.

Bjorna has completed a clerkship at the Provincial Court of Alberta, rotating through the Criminal, Family and Civil divisions. She has also shadowed judges at the Court of Queen’s Bench of Alberta.
